Our objective is to develop and consolidate CEMEX’s Packaging Global Strategy, integrating the negotiations for purchasing paper and bags world wide and the management of the sacks manufacturing operations to assure the supply of packaging with quality, service and the best costs alternative.
Our main functions are:
- Negotiate the supply of paper and paper sacks for all CEMEX’s Regions and Countries
- Manage and operate the CEMEX paper sacks factories (Mexico City, San Luis Potosí, Buñol and Assiut).
- Coordinate with the local operations to develop best bags structure “cost-efficient”.
- Monitor the packaging industry evolution.
- Periodically evaluate the convenience of producing vs. buying paper sacks.
