Read Op's
You do not need an automated infrastructure for order receiving. Ariba Network permanently stores copies of all your purchase orders, and you can read them online.
To best use this order-receiving methodology, log in to Ariba Network regularly, with a frequency determined by your order volume. For example, a small-volume supplier might need to read new orders once a day. A larger supplier might need to read new orders several times a day.
You might also want to read purchase orders online to:
- Verify that orders are being transmitted
- Diagnose order-routing problems
- Manually change order status
- Add text comments to be read by your buyers
You should train multiple people to log in and read orders, so that an absence will not result in delays.
Ariba Network tracks transactions by their Ariba ORMS purchase order number.

Click Inbox ,or click the Transactions link on the main page.
Ariba Network displays the
Transactions page
, which lists all of your account's transactions.
To view a full textual report of all transactions, click the
Download transaction audit report link. You can use this report to store transactions in an archive, or to record an extensive order history.

Click the order number of a transaction
Ariba Network displays the contents of that purchase order.
Purchase orders with a paper clip icon
have attachments. For more information, see
Viewing Attachments.
Purchase orders cannot be deleted from Ariba Network.
